Nathaniel was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Alabama and his Juris Doctor from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law.  While a student at Cumberland, Nathaniel was a Junior Editor and Associate Editor of the Cumberland Law Review, an Editor and Manager for the Center for Children Law and Ethics Blog, and held several positions on the Henry Upson Sims Moot Court Board. Nathaniel also competed in the 2025 National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition, and was awarded Best Oralist for the second round.

Nathaniel interned at a variety of firms specializing in litigating issues ranging from environmental law to healthcare fraud. Nathaniel also interned with Federal Magistrate Judge John H. England III, where he drafted orders and opinions for the Court.

In his free time, Nathaniel enjoys whittling, swimming, and playing tabletop games. He and his wife Kylie live in Baldwin County with their two beautiful cats: Doodle and Arthur.
