Lucas Bedia is a long-time Alabama resident and a graduate of McGill-Toolen Catholic High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Franciscan University of Steubenville where he majored in Classics and studied The Great Books. Lucas went on to earn his Juris Doctor and Master of Laws in Taxation from The University of Alabama School of Law where he participated in The Law & Economics Society, serving as its Secretary and Vice-President.
Lucas served as the civil law clerk for the Honorable Judge James T. Patterson of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit for the State of Alabama in Mobile and then came to work for Luther, Collier, Hodges & Cash, LLP as an associate.
In September 2022, Lucas returned to Luther, Collier, Hodges & Cash, LLP as an associate. He is licensed to practice in Alabama and Florida state courts.
Lucas enjoys spending time with his family and friends, reading, listening to a wide variety of music and podcasts, and playing table-top games. He is an Eagle Scout.
